I've always enjoyed reading. As a child, I read with a flash light under the covers, for hours past my bedtime. Later, when I was 17, 18 years old, I had to read assigned books for my final exams. Now that took the fun out of reading! After my finals, it took me several years to realise that I actually love to read. And today, every day, I learn new things about writers and their books. Thanks to BookCrossing: so many generous people, with so many ideas about what enjoyable books there are, I don't have time enough.
About trading books from my bookshelf: within Europe, anything goes! Unfortunately, the Dutch post office charges immensely for books over 250 grammes outside Europe, so I might decline an offer to trade because it's probably cheaper for you to buy a new copy than it is for me to mail it to you. Sorry about that!
