Recent Book Activity

I have worked as a chef for over 20 years. I enjoy hiking, swimming and of course reading!! I like all kinds of books especially mysteries, police stories, anything to do with WW II and of course speciality cookbooks. I also enjoy meeting new people and networking.

I would also be interested in trading if you see a book that you would like--just send me a PM. I am always in search of large print books, of all types, for my 86 year old Mother, and would be willing to trade. -- She reads really fast, and I can never seem to keep up to her :)

I have been a member now for a few years and I must say that I am HOOKED :)

I have met lots of great people and enjoy sending and receiving packages from within Canada and Internationally. This is a great Community and I am glad I have become a part of it !!


I have started to collect postcards again, and am gradually adding to my childhood collection--thanks to all who have sent me cards !!
I also collect bookmarks, and greeting cards in other languages besides English.

I have recently adopted a senior cat named HOBBES (he is now my profile picture). He is a big cat with a big personality to match--we are gradually getting to know each other, and I think he likes me :)
