Recent Book Activity

Just an overall pretty happy and content with life Kansas girl! Work as an Administrative Assistant at a job that I enjoy getting up during the week and going to. My better half Jim is a really great guy who I am still head over heels in love with. Between us we have 5 grown kids and 1 grandson Devon. Come July we'll be grandparents again and we're both pretty excited over it!

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes along with counted cross stitch and quilting! Great way to relax, just pick up a book, curl up in the chair and let the book take me away - kind of like a Calgon bath! Getting caught up in the main characters of the book and away we go, off on an adventure only the author knows where it'll end up.

Used to be totally into romance novels, but find myself reading a variety of things now a days. Anything from a romance novel, horror book (Grim Reapings uggggggggg that was a gruesome and scary book), mystery, thriller and just general light reading over all - (Hot Flash Club books).

So pick up a book and let it take you to only it knows where!
