Recent Book Activity

I have been married for 7 years, and we have two children together. Ravin is 6 and Vincent is 4. We currently live in Alabama, and will be a couple more years at least. After that, the sky is pretty much open.

We also have two furry kids. Our dog, Buddy is 3yr old and is a black lab/pitbull mix. He likes to bark at the trees. Our other kid we just got from someone so she still is adjusting to our family. Her name is Sou-sou, and she is a 8yr tabby cat. She loves to cuddle in bed when I am reading. She is starting to adventure out into the main part of the house, but once she sees Buddy in the living room, she goes back to our bedroom. :)

I am currently looking into becoming a Certified Labor Doula, but finances lately have not permitted me to start.

Besides reading, I like to go camping, hiking, fishing,gardening, going to coffee shops and I like to watch my favorite tv shows. My tastes are pretty varied when it comes to reading, I will read anything once. :)

I am interested in the 1001 books you must read before you die concept. So, I will be doing my best to follow the more recent list made in 2008. I have put a couple of them on my wishlist, but if you have any other copies of the books and would like to share, I would be more than happy to make an exchange. :) I am also registered at RABCK.com, so if you needed my mailing address, it is listed. :)

Oh, just FYI. If one of the books listed does not have a link, it means that it is not registered thru bookcrossing. Which will usually mean I am borrowing it thru the public library. :)
