Extended Profile

BookCrossing learned from oppem's family that this wonderful BookCrosser died June 23, 2012 at the age of 63. She loved sharing her books through RABCKs, and was a joy to converse with in the forums. She will be missed, but her books travel on in her memory. Her profile remains unchanged below.

"A good book on your shelf is a friend that turns its back on you and remains a friend". ~Author Unknown

I am a middle-aged book lover who enjoys the idea of sharing some of her books with others - its fun to find new places to leave a book & then hope that someone out there finds them, enjoys them & passes them on.

I am on RABCK.....

Lived all over the world & now living in the USA with my husband & dog - but I was born on 'tuther side of pond' - I still have a lot of my family over there, hence I try to visit about once a year to get my 'British Fix'..!!!!.

I have always LOVED books and remember spending hours as a young girl reading Enid Blytons books - The Secret Seven & The Famous Five being some of my favourites...
Now I have a more eclectic love of books and can only wish I still had the long summer holidays of childhood to just sit & read more.

My wishlist is a list of books that I have seen mentioned & thought might be good...I am sure will never manage to obtain / read them all but its a way for me to remember interesting looking books for future reference (& hopefully read a great number of them).

Please be aware that the books I have listed as 'available' do not necessarily reflect my taste in literature. I buy lots of books from charity shops to then wild release...

Please let me know if you have any interest in the available books I have listed - am always willing to trade books ...
