I used to be a film and theatre director/producer. Though project oriented, I am semi-retired and live on 5 acres with some ducks, Cedric, a very nasty goose, and some roller pigeons. Palapatchky, my smart dude cat, didn't show up one day. Something got it, I'm sure. Deer roam the island and eagles own the sky. The Georgia straight lies just down the street.
I have 3 'children.' Though all are adults, even I continue to be my mother's little boy - very hard to digest sometimes. My daughter is a Hollywood actress; my oldest son a musician and teacher; my youngest an entrepreneur in the fashion machine. Marriage is a thing of the past.
My first book 'Dolls Are People Too,' started out as a play. I created and did the play with the public school's drama club here. I think it would make a great DVD someday. Now the book is finally complete and self-published, I like to see if it can find a life of its own in the big world. I look forward to some, hopefully positive responses.
The basics of 'bookcrossing' seems marvellous. I am curious to experience how many samples disappear from sight and are lost. Time will tell!
