I love books. My family & I live in a very remote part of Australia - in the middle of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. We are about 1000 km from the nearest bookshop. Shopping for books and drinking good coffee are the two things I miss most about city life. We moved here in 2006, it is very beautiful and we love it.

I have just started my new job as a trainee Librarian at our local Hospital. The last 2 weeks have been very interesting and I am adjusting to working 20 hrs with a young family. It has been a bit hectic but I am sure that will settle down as soon as we all develop some routines (just in time for me to begin my new course - BA (M&I) Librarianship & Corporate Information Management). I'm not reading nearly as much as I was, so my bookshelf entries have slowed a little. Still lovin' books and bookcrossing!!!

Feb 08 - I work part time at the local library and participate in storytime each week for the preschoolers. I am studying Library and Information Services online.

Jan 08 - We are finally back home! What a huge holiday. We had so much fun!! We visited family in Frankfurt for a week and then flew to Zagreb to play in the snow with more family in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. We then flew down to the Adriatic coast & stayed at Cavtat, exploring all of the old buildings. We especially loved old town Dubrovnik. While staying at Cavtat, we drove across the boarder into Bosnia to visit Mostar, and crossed into Montenegro to visit Kotor. Then we flew back to Singapore, via Frankfurt, to have some fun at Sentosa Island & shop. But I must admit, it is REALLY nice to be home.

DEC 07 - We are just about to head off overseas...woo hoo. We are all so excited. I'll be taking the laptop, so I'll still get messages & check my mail, but will not be able to send any RABCK's out till mid January. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone out there. It's been a great year because it has been a bookcrossing year!!

NOV 07 - I'm currently sending out about 2 RABCK's per week. I find this easier than wild releases, due to the very small town that we live in!! I locate these RABCK's through wishlists (thanks Cliff1976) or off Firegirl's ISO list (thanks Firegirl). I'm happy to send international (as long as the book is not toooo big!!), and most of my books do actually go OS. I'm happy to do this because everyone has been so generous with me! I love the book karma idea.
