"When I get a little money, I buy books; and if any is left, I buy food and clothes."
"The quality of life is determined by its activities."
Books to the ceiling,
Books to the sky,
My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I'll have a long beard by the time I read them.

This doesn't apply directly to me, as I don't have a large book collection or a tbr pile. Plus, I'm female & no beard either! I just thought it was a charming & cheerful saying.
"Get them off your shelves, into your hands, turn those pages, feel the love and get it right on moving."
... our own MissMarkey. I really liked this comment - a reminder to be considerate about other members' books sent to us. Read them, journal them, send them along according to the original sender's wishes, if any. Be kind to fellow BookCrossers!

a favourite book of mine, from which I took my BC name.
I'm on LibraryThing as booksandscones where my permanent collection is catalogued. All my books registered on BookCrossing have been released or will be shortly.
I like vintage mysteries from the 1930s-40s, some modern mysteries, some chick-lit or general modern fiction, and occasionally a good non-fiction book or book about finance.
