Welcome to my bookshelf! I have to confess to being a bit of a hoarder. When I enjoy a book, I usually want to keep it and read it again and again. And I can't bear the thought of a novel being abandoned on a park bench! That said, I do release those books I haven't enjoyed, and I love taking part in rings and rays. I have now persuaded my partner to join Bookcrossing! Her username is AardvarkSue.

At the moment I'm really enjoying fantasy novels aimed at young adults - think Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy, The Dark Is Rising, etc. As a general rule I also like poetry, literary fiction, and books (informative/biographies/self-help) relating to depression or other mental health issues.
