i'm a longtime book lover, and find it very hard to let go of anything i read (unless i really, really hated it ... which is rare!). but bookshelves need cleaning, simply because i am running out of space.

i've discovered i have a huge variety of books, from histories, to poetry, to romances, and just about everything in between, including a surprising number of mysteries since i've never considered myself a "mysteries" type person. i've also discovered a huge collection of books i never got around to reading, so i'm putting them up here as well in order to make myself get some more book time in. whatever happened to those great school days when i used to read at least two books a day?

not everything up here has been set free yet, and a couple are "keepers" that i don't plan on actually releasing long term -- be sure to check the journal entries. hopefully, everything else will be let go at some point. i'm always in search of good places for wild releases, and really need to start some bookrays/bookrings. it just takes a book-lover like me a bit longer to set the babies free into the wild.

i take immaculate care of my books. no matter how many times i read and reread, the spine is never creased, and the pages never folded down. "obsessive" is the word my mom would use in regards to how i treat these precious gems.

i'm always on the look out for book-rings and exchanges, so please drop me a note if you have a specific trade or ring/ray you think i might like. please don't just ask me to send you something because 99 times out of 100, it comes across as rude. i'm not a free book site, and will not send booksjust because you sent a PM.
