Recent Book Activity

I've been in love with reading since I learned how - when I was about 3. I was the one who was always reading something, read under covers with flashlights when mom told me to go to sleep, refused to put the book down even amongst pandemonium, and checked books out of the library by the cartload.

My favorite things to read are manga, fantasy, sci-fi, and religion/spirituality. I will read just about anything though - except perhaps mystery and romance.

And I still read pretty heavily: In 2010, I read 113 books & 21,440 pages! (Granted, most of this was manga.)

Despite my best efforts, I still have a monstrous, out-of-control TBR. Yet I've found it necessary to come off of my self-imposed trading hiatus in order to fill in the blanks in some sci-fi and fantasy series I'd like to read. Excepting the occasional urge to wild release, I find myself using BookCrossing less and less for my booksharing needs, so if you would like to trade, then please visit me on PBS.

Although my Twitter account has developed into something that isn't very book-related, but rather is mostly random nonsense, I have decided to experiment with linking this account to my Twitter via the app and see how that goes. I'm hoping for auto-Tweeting of wild releases and nothing else.

When I'm not reading you can find me gardening, stitching, watching anime, catching a baseball or hockey game, entertaining my husband and/or cats, wasting time on teh internets, playing tabletop rpg, and even sleeping once in awhile.
