Extended Profile

My name is Nanda. I am 41 years old and live in the Netherlands with my boyfriend Taffy (a.k.a. Twinfather). As you can see from my profile name I am a mother to twins named Caitlyn & Alec. They were born June 18th of 2002. I am also mother to twins ~Evan & Chloe~ (born and passed away August of 2001 after 5 months of pregnancy).

I am a avid reader, though with twins around the house I don't often get a chance, except in bed or in the train to and from work. I work as a senior legal advisor for the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment.

I mostly read English language books. My favourite writers at the moment is Lee Child. His Reacher novels are among the best I've ever read. Gripping stuff! I also like Philip Pullman. The "His Dark Materials" trilogy were is amazing. I love detectives (Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Blum books are smart and very funny and Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware novels are intriguing) and thrillers. Books by Ben Elton are also high on my list.
I also love reading to the twins and it is great to see them "reading" their own books.

I have written one book myself, though I will not be releasing that onto the unsuspecting world. It's my Ph.D. dissertation on free movement of people with the EU (yawn). But if you really want to know more about it, here's an URL: http://www.europalawpublishing.com/european_law/public_service.htm

I love to trade books, so have a look at my bookshelf and see if there is anything you might like. Please offer my something in return and I will consider it. However, I do reserve the right to refuse to send heavy books (over 250 grams) overseas, as this is can be too expensive.

My Wish List
Thanks Cliff1976!
