Enjoy fiction/literature that TAKES ME AWAY to another time, space, or fashion era. I particularly like audiobooks because I can listen to them while preparing food, organizing my filing cabinet or recovering from eye surgery - yeah, THAT'S fun!

Also, I like vintage knitting patterns, furniture-making books (Gustav Stickley, William Morris), and ethnic cook books.

I support my voracious reading habit by working as a researcher examining end-of-life issues for people with disabilities. This perhaps explains my intense need to escape...
