Recent Book Activity

I sometimes believe I was born reading a book because I always have my nose in one. I read everything I can get my hands on from light reading(Fern Michaels,etc)true crime, biographies, self help, well I could go on. When I was growing up and my Mum couldn't find me all she did was call the library and sure enough I was there. I still spend a lot of my free time in libraries. In fact whenever I move to a new area the first thing I do is make sure there is a library within walking distance. (there's one practically across the street from where I live now !!)
It doesn't matter where you live or what you do for a living. Just pick up a book and you can be anywhere in the world, or universe for that matter, or you can be anyone.
I get so engrossed in the books I read that I feel like I am right there with the characters.
