I had to turn PM off as I was getting contacted by scammers wanting to send me their pictures....Now why would I want to have pictures of people I don't know?
How silly can you get.
Folks, watch out for the ones that are copying photos of military personnel and impersonating them. I am told by relatives in the military that they are no longer allowed to post to social media due to safety issues. So all of these are scams.
I really was rolling on the floor laughing at the latest scammers request:
" Hi Dear,
My name is Capt.Kristen Marie Griest, From Orange, Connecticut, United
States, I am US Army Special force at Ein al-Asad Us military base Iraq, I
pick interest on you. I will like to establish mutual friendship with you.
I will introduce myself better and send you my pictures as soon as i
receive your mail."
SORRY DEAR, AN AMERICAN WOULD USE HONEST TO GOODNESS BAD AMERICAN GRAMMAR. "PICK INTEREST ON YOU" JUST AIN'T AMERICAN!!! And, frankly, it's super creepy!
I do welcome friend requests from real people who are honest to goodness book lovers! I'll only friend folks who I see have released a book or two as that is one of my ways of judging that they are legit.
