Extended Profile
I love to read and was so happy and amazed when I found this site. I don't have time to come here often, but when I do I am so thankful for all the wonderful people here. I never kept track of the books that I read, until I joined bookcrossing,in 2004.
I have a notebook and keep track of my books coming and going. It has more than a thousand books in it. There is not enough space here to list all the books I have read this month.
I have two favorite authors, Fern Michaels and Debbie Macomber. I was thrilled to meet Debbie when she came to speak at a book signing in Connecticut. Fern Michaels has my favorite characters in her Sisterhood books.
My hobbies are many, making cards, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, and of course reading. I love to travel and have seen most of the USA, except for Hawaii, Wisconsin, Colorado,and N & S Dakota. I plan to move to Georgia when I retire (hopefully in 2011 or 2012).
My wish list is short;
I love anything paper - cards, postcards, pens, labels, bookmarks
I make greeting cards to sell on eBay, and to my friends. I also do a few craft shows during the year, usually to help out my grandchildren with their projects at school.
I love to read anything, but my favorites are romances and mysteries.
