Extended Profile
I'm a resource librarian for a Presbytery (sort of like a diocese) in Florida, so I get to read/research/discover/enjoy books and videos as part of my job. Lucky me! I'm a graduate of Barnard College, NYC, was research assistant to author Harry Golden,
was a reporter for the Charlotte Observer. From 1965 to 1985 I was a missionary in Korea, mostly Kwangju, with husband Betts and our four children. I taught English, wrote, did child welfare work, had a lot of company, and we had about 14 foster children over
the years, from toddlers to college students (as our children grew). I wrote a book Caring, Growing and Changing about the early Protestant movement in Korea. Reading is one of my four favorite activities in life.
