Recent Book Activity

After farming for nearly thirty years in southeastern Indiana, my husband and I sold our farm and moved into town.

I worked in retail for a few years. Then got restless and found a fun job driving a semi-truck across the country. I really loved that but missed the family.

When the grandchildren started to arrive, I came home and returned to retail work. Four years ago, I finished classes to become a certified EMT for Indiana. I run with our local volunteer emergency squad.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine challenged me to try to write a novel. (I never could resist a dare.) I was pleased when the book was accepted and published by PublishAmerica; the name of the book is "Hidden Legacy" and it is available for sale at http://www.margarethodapp.com in book stores or on the internet at http://www.publishamerica.com Amazon.com and the Barnes & Noble site.

My second book, Dearest of Friends was released September,2004. Dearest of Friends is the beginning book in a trilogy titled The Crystal Lake Friends.

I am happiest when creating a story to tell in the form of a book or short story and writing poetry for readers to enjoy.
