I am originally from Glasgow, Scotland. Now living near to Heathrow Airport on the edge of London, England. I now work for the Metropolitan Police and am also involved in local campaign work in my spare time.
My wife is longfordmaine2. We were introduced to bookcrossing by our good friend woodsdweller who I have known and respected for longer than I care to remember. It's strange but I would describe woodsdweller as longfordmaine2's spiritual sister. We cannot thank
woodsdweller enough for introducing us to Bookcrossing.
This is for me - I never remember the difference!
As currently defined, a "caught" release is a book for which someone besides you has made a journal entry. So, the book may have been released into the wild and found, and the finder made a journal entry, or the book may have simply been given to a friend,
and the friend made a journal entry. "Books found" refers to books that someone else registered and that you journaled. So your "book found" will be someone else's "release caught" and vice versa.
