No, I don't bear any resemblance to Jim Henson, but I'm a big fan!
I'm a middle school teacher, but was able to work for a year as a school librarian....Heaven!! My husband and I are raising two bookworms of our own, the oldest of whom is soon to become a BookCrosser...he thinks it's "tight." (I believe that means "cool.")
I'm only registering books that are available. I couldn't part with the signed "And Now We Are Six" or the Shakespeare anthology that saw me through high school and college. But, I'm happy to send or lend everything else!
My favorite authors today, in no particular order:
Laurie R. King
Barbara Kingsolver
Douglas Adams
Roald Dahl
Phillip Pullman
David Sedaris
Elizabeth George
James Lee Burke
Tony Hillerman
Madeline L'Engle
Martha Grimes
Shakespeare
Eoin Colfer
At this very moment, I'm reading:
The Little Book by Selden Edwards
My Wish List (Thanks cliff1976)
Books Read in 2008
The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore
Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
