I'm a software engineer by day and a book lover by night. I don't get into the technical stuff. Give me a good mystery or biography and I am set. I live with my two dogs, Teddy and Zoe. I love live theater, ethnic food, gardening and hanging out with friends and family.

I got my love of reading from my Mom. She reads 2 - 3 books at a time. She has a monthly book and at least one other book. She views books like other people view projects. She takes the number of pages and divides it into the number of days she allows for that book. Then she puts bookmarkers in for each day. She has a goal each year for the number of books she wants to read. Each year she tries to surpass that goal.

I think this site is the greatest! I already had a habit of buying books I have already read at garage sales and library sales. If it is a good book and it is cheap, I can't pass it up, I figure I will pass it on to someone. This site has now given me a great way to do this.
