There are hundreds of books on my shelves and I am in the process of registering them and plan to release most of them as I have time. I will continue to collect art and craft books and keep most of them along with the reference books. These will eventually
go to a club library. I am an avid library patron and most of the books I have read over the past few years have been obtained from local libraries.
I would like to trade for audio books, but am not interested in self-help books. Send me a PM if you would like anything other than one of the art, craft or reference books.
After using this site for a few months, I am so impressed with BookCrossing as a concept and as a Site that I felt compelled to add this note.
This works so well it is amazing. BookCrossing seems to work faster than almost any place I contact. It is doing so many things so well and seems to anticipate my intentions. It is really a tribute to the software skills of Ron Hornbaker. Of course, the concept
is wonderful, but the way it works makes it even better.
I also appreciated the complement he gave his parents in his profile. My parents were both vocational school teachers. My father, a stonemason, was never without a book. My mother wrote several workbooks for nursing instruction and was the fastest reader I
have ever met. There were thousands of books in our house and some of my earliest memories concern my father's work at home building more bookcases of stone and wood. They both would have loved to join this site and I think of them every time I visit the site.
Thanks to everyone that participates here.
