Welcome to keeprdg's bookshelf! Keeprdg is pronounced "keep reading." Some people have told me they thought it was "keeper dog" (which my cat would not appreciate!).
I was so excited to find BookCrossing! I think it is a great concept. When I first joined, I thought I would mostly use it to clean out and declutter my bookshelves, giving away books that I didn't really like and/or will never want to read again. I like to think that someone else will be enjoying them rather than just having the books sit on my shelves.
Since joining, though, I have also bought books at Goodwill, specifically to read and release, and that has been fun, too. It is surprising what good books you can find there for a mere 50 cents.
I have also traded some books with other BookCrossers, and joined some bookrings, bookrays, and bookboxes. This site has led me to books and authors I might not have tried otherwise, and it has been great. I have really enjoyed everything I have done with BookCrossing.
Currently reading:
-Yellow Raft, Blue Water
The following books are available for trade right now. I also have a lot of other books on my bookshelf that I haven't read yet. If you're interested in trading for one of those, I can move it up in the TBR pile. The books listed below are available immediately:
And Then There Were None
Contact
Decider
Light a Penny Candle
Mentors, Masters, and Mrs. MacGregor
One World, One Heart
Say No to Murder
Scarlet Feather
The Brethren
Your Manners Are Showing
My Wish List
Thanks, cliff1976!
