*** MOVING IN JUNE 2015 - PLS PM ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE MY NEW ADDRESS ***
Biker married to a biker; bookworm and NHS staff: not much good at sleeping so I use the midnight oil to read. I'm happiest when I can take off to the countryside / seaside for a few days with a couple of boxes of wine and a couple of paperbacks. Ha, dream on girl - it doesn't happen often!!

I have recently sold my beloved 1994 Kawasaki EN 500 (also got rid of a 1974 Honda 250 Superdream and a 1976 Suzuki AP 50) . . . my new addition is a 15yr old Honda Rebel 250cc.

I lurve loud music, live music, lots of music. Born in the early 1960's my musical tastes are diverse and eclectic!

I regularly meet my referring member, Plum-crazy for our own mini meets. We swap books, have a drink and a chat, and travel around helping to stock up the Book Crossing shelves in Todmorden and Hebden Bridge railway stations, and a couple of other places besides.
I attended my first Bookcrossing Unconvention in Leeds in Sept 2013 - considering Oxford in April 2015 as I had such a good time: met lots of lovely Bookcrossers, and came home with lots of lovely books! Yummy.

I crocheted dozens and dozens of OWL KEY RINGS for the Leeds uncon: they have travelled all round the world - check them out on 741-11967076.

Hope to make something similar for Oxford.

OXFORD 2015 -I WAS THERE!

OXFORD 2015: decided to enter the Ballyinwonderland Craft Competition - made a load of hats and entered them as The Mad Hatter's hats . . . and won first prize. Thank you. And to all who got a hat . . . enjoy x

Favourite places to visit - Morocco, Forest of Dean (UK), Morecambe (UK), and Goole (UK) where there is a marvellous Charity Shop selling books 5 a £1 !!

Kind Bookcrossers who've sent me books from my wishlist / as RABCK's:

Fracula (Long Way Down)

Plum-crazy (Bags full of loads! including, from my wish list, "Corazon" Jools
Danby: "Cinnamon City" Miranda Innes: "The Keeper" Natasha Mostert, and numerous Jack Reacher exploits!)

Ritao (The Help)
Little Suz (Perfume)
chocdrop (The Discovery of Chocolate)
Elskaliam (Dead Until Dark)
shnedwards (The Naked Civil Servant) at Leeds 2013 uncon.
rahar109 (61 Hours and The Burning Girl) at Leeds 2013 uncon.
bookfrogster - (Bad Luck and Trouble)
Izzy666 - (Nothing to Lose)
ApoloniaX - (The Death Pit) at the 2015 Oxford BCC

And thank you to the kind people who've donated books to book crossing: you know who you are. x

Proud member of the GREEN BOOT BRIGADE (currently just 2 BCers that I know of, Plum-crazy and me - my Green Boot didn't stand up to the trip to Oxford: took some old black ones instead - but Plum wore hers!)
Look at her profile for the colour picture - I'm not that clever!

The green boots are getting well worn - we'll be on the lookout for more boots before long!
