Extended Profile

Wow I need to update this! This is why I don't blog obviously. Let's see. After being inactive for a couple of years, I'm finding my way back. I'm currently participating in Iwillrejoice's Alphabet Rings. When I first started bookcrossing, I got crazy with the book boxes and rings and contests and all that good stuff. Which I enjoyed tremendously. Except I became overrun with books. When I sold my house last year, a lot of books were set free at the library and Goodwill, in the form of donations. I didn't make the necessary release notes (forgive me, please). But hopefully they will find their way into the hands of a current BC'er or even nicer, entice someone else to join! I'm not back 100% but I'm getting there. I gave away all my stickers and bookplates, but I'll start registering again and try to be better about journaling.

1/8/11: I'm having a LOT of trouble with my computer right now. The only time I can post is when I'm able to use my husband's work computer (so let's say no more than once per week). I can read the threads at work on my lunch break, but not allowed to log in. So I'm around and reading all that's going on, but until we figure out what's going on with the home computer, I'll only be able to post sporadically. thank you all for your patience.

2008 (and continuing)Goals: Reduce Mt TBR and get moving again at least 30 books. Stay away from Rings/Rays/Boxes forum!! (so addicting:) Try and limit the amount of new books bought. (note the "try") And I'd really like to start a commonplace book! That's probably goal #1.

"Because I have hundreds of books that are PC, I only register books as I get ready to release them." Well that used to be true... until the Race to the 3,000,000 Challenge. Finally got motivated and registered some books!! Now if I could only motivate myself to release them (well, gotta read them first:)
