Hi! I'm just another crazy art student looking for new sources of inspiration. I love fashion design, art books (coffee table gallery-types and how-to tutorials), and historical fiction. I'm also extraordinarily fond of fairy tales and the various twists folks have put them through over the years. I'm always up for just about anything (although I can promise that most math books will find a quick use as a doorstop) but have a current especial interest in books on the following:
- using colored pencils and charcoal
- textiles
- books on the Asian/Chinese-American experience
- books about Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome (Fiction AND Non-fiction)
- photobooks on architecture and art
- manga
- TASCHEN's "Basic Art" series, which are biographies of famous artists
