Recent Book Activity

I originally joined BC after "catching" a book at my Doctor's office. I immediately started going through my book piles and deciding what to release in the wild. But alas, I talked so enthusiastically about BC that my son decided to not only get into the act, but write a grant proposal through his High School to turn every student and teacher into bookcrossers! So all of my inventory is now going towards his goal of gathering 1200 books by the end of the summer. If you'd like to follow his project, check out his ID of "Windward".

I'm happy to pay postage for any of the books on my wishlist. Or, if you prefer trades please check the Reserved list under "Windward". Due to the cost, I'd prefer to pay postage only within the U.S. Thanks!

My Bookcrossing Pledge
I will respect the feelings of other BookCrossers in both PMs and in the forums. When I must make a confrontation I will do so with facts and limit the urge to post negative emotions and opinions.

I will journal all ALL books just as soon as I get them. Even if it is just a short note that says "I got it."

If I choose to trade I will honor my end of the bargain by sending the book(s) that I agreed to trade.

If I choose to participate in Bookrings, Bookrays, BookBoxes or other forms of book sharing I will pass it along in a timely manner.

I will not hoard books from other BookCrossers and I will not ask for every RABCK or book giveaway on the forums. I will give other BookCrossers a fair chance.

I will do my best to be generous in all ways that I can be on BookCrossing. I know that this cannot always be through financial means but that I can still be a positive member of this society.
