Extended Profile

A few years ago a friend of mine introduced me to Bookcrossing, basically saying it was the greatest thing ever. I joined, registered some books, then life threw some curve balls my way & the site was forgotten.

Not long ago, my friend had a really big curve ball of her own, and we lost her to cancer. Her memorial slideshow had a photo of her bookshelves of to-be-read books, and it jarred me back to my own shelves. So now I'm back and ready to dive in, because in the end there's no point holding on to piles of books.

I am currently in an area with no active bookcrossers. My new mission is to change that. In honour of my dear friend, known here as nwpassage.

**If you want to send me a book & don't have any of my wishlists, send me one that is fun or quirky. I also love classics, scripts for plays, poetry and random memoirs. Thanks :) **
