My name is Jody Seay. I have been a Certified Advanced Rolfer since 1980 and an author since 1989. My first novel, THE SECOND COMING OF CURLY RED, was published in 1999. It won First Prize for fiction at the Mendocino Coast Writer's Conference and was a finalist in the 2000 Oregon Book Awards. Currently, I am working on a memoir called DEAD IN A DITCH, about growing up in Texas and other near-death experiences. Another novel, a spin-off from THE SECOND COMING OF CURLY RED, is also in the works. It is called BANGER. God only knows when I'll get the thing finished. Soon, I hope. I escaped the heat of Texas in 1988 and now live in Portland, Oregon. I am fond of the color green and cooler weather - that's why I moved here. Then I fell in love - and that's why I stayed here.
