Extended Profile
I've been a fan of science fiction & fantasy since my sophmore year in high school (way back when...). Primarily on the fantasy side of the SF&F with literary likes such as Tanya Huff, Laurell K. Hamilton, David Weber, Melanie Rawn, Marion Zimmer Bradley,
etc. Along the current televised media, my likes are: Birds of Prey (which TPTB have unfortunately cancelled - in their 'infinite wisdom' - yeah, right), Stargate SG-1, Buffy, Andromeda (occasionally watch). I also have a knack for long run dramas as well
- such as ER, Law & Order, NYPD Blue. Strongly dislike most of the comedies on the air (have no appeal to me), ditto reality tv (blech!).
I'm currently the 'defacto head' of the Fredericton Science Fiction Society (defacto meaning - I was the last one to put their hand down when they were looking for a new president...7 yrs ago). And have remained as such . But it's fun - otherwise I wouldn't be there - benevolent dictatorship ideas aside.
In real life...I'm working on completing my Arts degree (major in Sociology), as well as finishing my LPN course via correspondence.
