Extended Profile
If you are interested in a certain genre or book and a trade, please let me know, because I have many books I have not yet registered...
Throughout my life, I have enjoyed reading. Many times, it has led me to social ridicule. For the longest time, I was the nerdy kid everyone laughed at. I would walk to school with my nose in a book, sit in class with my nose in a book, walk to my next class with my nose in a book, and walk home with my nose in a book. Now, however, I realize how helpful that time was to me. Now that I am older and mature enough to ignore people talking behind me, I realize how much I learned from that time immersed in other places via the pages of a book. In books, I have traveled in the cars of the Okies, through John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath, and explored the outer ranges of space with Ender in Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game. I have read classics like The Swiss Family Robinson (in the fourth grade, no less) and modern books like the Harry Potter series. Really, I just love to read.
My Favorite Books
1) The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
2) Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert Anson Heinlein
3) The Grapes of Wrath by Robert Steinbeck
My Favorite Authors
1) Robert Anson Heinlein
2) John Steinbeck
3) Phillip Pullman
My Favorite Genres
1) Science Fiction/Fantasy
2) Fiction
3) Classic Literature
