I am the author and publisher of "Dartmouth Conspiracy". You can read more about it on http://www.author.co.uk/friars-goose

I printed 1000 copies in 1999 and a further 2000 the following year. The book has sold well in my local bookshop, and has been well received by libraries, but so far not many people in the USA have read it. However, a lady did write to me from Lafayette, New Jersey: "I have never been so impressed by a novel . . . anything else would be like warm beer." Was she telling the truth? Perhaps she likes warm beer!!
