Recent Book Activity

This website has me hooked.

My bookshelf doesn't reflect my tastes at all. Releasing is so much fun that I buy cheap books by the boxful, just so I can scatter them everywhere I go. (My husband also releases books from this bookshelf). I like to think of surprised smiles on the faces of the finders, and consider any book "caught" that finds an appreciative reader, whether or not there is a journal note.

I like wild releases, though I've also sent a few boxes to my daughter in Japan, and to Peace Corps volunteers in Africa and Albania. Unfortunately, the M-bag surface mailing rate has been discontinued by the Post Office now.
