I share a bookshelf with my mom. (The name and age part is hers) I love reading, especially with my friends.

I am a Girl Scout and I am starting out on my Silver Award. My friend and I are setting up a library for a local homeless shelter. We are trying to find an address that books can be sent to. Once we do, expect to hear from me! We need all the help that we can get!!!

If you want to know why I have my screenname, it is not my name. I am an avid reader of the Artemis Fowl series. I love how the fairies are described as very technologically advanced, and how their systems would render ours obsolete. Captain Holly Short is a particually fiesty fairy who befriends 13 year old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl (a.k.a. mudboy) There are currently 4 adventures, and a fifth is expected.

I have been a bookworm since before I knew what that meant. My mom used to be a children's librarian, so she had me reading at a young age. Some of my classmates used to ask me "How much spare time do you have?!" and "How long do you read every day!?!" My greatest literary pride was reading the dictionary in third grade. That left my cousin Brian utterly mystified.
