Hmmmm I think that it is time to update this profile, since I originally filled it out almost four years ago (I think). I have recently moved to Banff, and am seperated from my book collection by thousands of miles. I must say I miss my old favourites terribly. However there is a Ffantastic bookstore here in Banff and I have already begun a new coolection here in Alberta. Unfortunately due to the fact that all of my books are still in Ontario it means that I will not be able to trade or release any of them in the near future. Sorry folks. Maybe I'll open a second account for my Alberta Bookshelf when it's worthwhile. That shouldn't take too long as I buy two or three a week.

When I was a kid it was a great way to wile away a few hours when I should have been doing homework. As an adult it has been a way to explore new and exotic place and meet people that were so much more interesting then the ones that I have to deal with on a day to day basis.

I think this site is a fantastic idea, not only as a way for book lovers to share their opinions of a new read, but also as a way to pass on that book. I love the idea of the whole world as a library, would that it were so.

AM desperately searching for a copy of my favourite childrens book "Andrew Henry's Meadow" to share with my fiancee and my son. I would be willing to trade almost anything for it, even books in my permanenet collection.

UPDATE: I now have my very own copy of "Andrew Henry's Meadow" thanks to my beautiful fiancee who tracked down a copy on eBay and bid tirelessly for it so she could gve it to me for my birthday. What a great woman!
