Welcome to my bookshelf! You are visitor number: www.rapidcounter.com/signup.php" target="_top">Free Counters

I am a fulltime mum, part-time career girl and part-time student (correction! I just completed my Bachelor of Business after 8 and a half years of part-time study by correspondence - yippee!!!) My beautiful little boy is four years old.

Thanks for visiting - I wish you peace and happiness. If you would like to read one of my AVL books, and you live in Australia, send me a PM with your postal address and I will mail it to you.

Bookrays I am operating:
The Bitch in the House, derailed in Taiwan, sorry! Hopefully I'll hear where it ended up one day and we might be able to get the ray started again - who knows!

Bookrays I am participating in:
Year of Wonders received Jan 2005, released to next on ray.
The Notebook, PrincessJCM, seems to have stalled in California.

Bookrings I am operating:
The Catch. (One man. One woman. One problem.) Closed.

Bookrings I am participating in:
Eats Shoots and Leaves, Jenatleisure, received September 2005, released December 2006.
The five people you meet in heaven, MaisyMay, received November 2005 and released to next on ring.
Kiss of the Fur Queen, goatgrrl, received June 2005 and released to next on ring.
A prayer for Owen Meany, Jenatleisure, received May 2005, released at Australian Bookcrossing Convention, 6 October 2007.
My life as a traitor, beaulivre, received September 2007, released October 2007.

RABCKs: Thank you so much for these!
My life as a fake Jenatleisure
A big new free happy unusual life, adogah

Books I have enjoyed recently that weren't mine to register:
Farewell my ovaries, Wendy Harmer.
Split, Tara Moss.
The curious incident of the dog in the night time, Mark Haddon.
The Joy Luck Club, Amy Tan.
The Kitchen God's Wife, Amy Tan.
The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown.
Ready or not? When 'I do' becomes 'I don't know', Chris Manby.
Anybody out there?, Marion Keyes. [The last two were part of the free library at The Sebel Reef House Spa Resort at Palm Cove where we honeymooned in April 2007.]
Seven Ancient Wonders, Matthew Reilly
When the lion feeds, The sound of thunder and A sparrow falls, Wilbur Smith (the first two were okay, but I loved the third one, with a new main character, and more sex). My husband has every Wilbur Smith book written, so this list will keep growing.
On the edge: My story, Richard Hammond (presenter on Top Gear re his recovery from a brain injury when the jet car he was driving flipped and buried him in dirt). Very well written by Richard and his wife. Made me cry lots.
