9/21/07 I've moved! Please pm me for current address!
I'm still reading, but not as much. I began taking classes in fall of 2007 working toward my masters in nursing, and I don't seem to get around to recording what I have managed to read aside from textbooks. I plan to continue to register and release books locally until I find myself with more time.
I took The Book Quiz and this is who it says I am:
Anne of Green Gables!
by L.M. Montgomery
Bright, chipper, vivid, but with the emotional fortitude of cottage cheese, you make quite an impression on everyone you meet. You're impulsive, rash, honest, and probably don't have a great relationship with your parents. People hurt your feelings constantly, but your brazen honesty doesn't exactly treat others with kid gloves. Ultimately, though, you win the hearts and minds of everyone that matters. You spell your name with an E and you want everyone to know about it!
I have been an avid reader my whole life. But reading is a very solitary activity. Bookcrossing is great because it reminds me our world is bigger than what I normally touch in my own small corner.
For the past year or two, I've been reading novels from the Literature, Arts, and Medicine Database. Since I am a nurse who reads, I have been interested in the place where literature and medicine intersect.
But since I've experienced more of Bookcrossing, I have begun to read a little bit of whatever crosses my path. I must admit that chick lit is my newest obsession.
For bookrelay purposes, here's my wishlist!
Regarding RABCKs: I love the surprise of a RABCK and my personal rule is to ray those kindnesses forward, either by RABCKing your book along to a suitable new owner once I've read it, or by RABCKing something else from my shelf to a suitable new owner in your honor. At the same time, please note that if I RABCK something to you, you are free to do with it as you wish.
