1 - only read a few pages, total waste of trees!
2 - read more than a few pages but didn't finish, life’s too short to waste on bad books
3 – major flaws, finished book, but more a chore than pleasure, would not recommend
4 – indifferent, finished book, but wouldn't choose to read another by this author
5 - average, not my cup of tea, others may find it interesting though
6 - slightly better than average, some interesting parts, would try author again
7 – above average, would read this author again
8 - Very good and enjoyable would definitely read this author again and recommend to others, depending on their taste
9 – Very, very enjoyable, great book, would recommend to others
10 - Awesome, could not put it down, a pure delight to read, would actively recommend to others
