Recent Book Activity

I love reading, and want to promote literature to others, and this gives me an ideal opportunity to do just that.

WOW! we are now three generations of bookcrossers, mum joined recently...JuneQueensland, my sister in law joined too.....GoldenHind, and now my daughter has just joined....Belinny79 and also my brother v8cars.

I read pretty much anything and usually pass books onto friends, it will be great to see where some books travel to.

Have just discovered the Random Acts of Book Crossing Kindness threads... Oh, WOW! I am in heaven.
I love Random Acts of Kindness, am really looking forward to participating in this and to start it off have offered some bookmarks. (Can promote my state and do something nice at the same time!)

I regularly offer bookmarks/books in the RABCK thread so keep a lookout there!

I love books by Maeve Binchy, Debbie Macomber, Marie Joseph, Cathy Alliott, Og Mandino. Just about any books actually, have read all of Lillian Beckwith's Island series, and Helen Forresters Liverpool series.

I also collect Chicken Soup for the Soul books, I used to use them for their inspirational stories when I worked in an Adult Day Respite Centre, they were so uplifting and the clients used to love the stories.

I also love butterflies...thatched cottages and smiley faces, and I am collecting bookmarks. The grandkids collect stamps and I pass onto them any that I get on parcels etc...they think I have the MOST friends possible...lol.
