This year for the holidays I'd only like to ask you kind bookcrossers one thing: that you consider donating a small sum to one of the following animal charities in Romania:

Homeless pets have a very tragic existence here, especially cats. There isn't even one shelter to house them, or a sterilization program to stop their uncontrolled breeding, while most people consider them vermin and treat them accordingly. You can browse through the two websites (the first one has an English version) to see that these are bona fide charities who really do a lot for our needy animals. They both have PayPal buttons on their homepages through which you can donate fast and easy.
