Recent Book Activity

I am an avid reader and have been for as long as I can remember, coming from a family of booklovers. I read both fiction and non-fiction, memoirs and biographies, science books... No chick lit and few fanatasy or scifi books (I love the Douglas Adams books though).
I read in English, French and German and prefer to read in the original language if possible. I like to read authors from lots of different backgrounds and find reading and bookcrossing a great means to open up my horizon. I'm a member of the 1001 library and will try to read 10 1001 books per year.

Among my favourite authors would be Paul Auster, Siri Hustvedt, Philip Roth, Eduardo Mendoza, Hermann Hesse, Max Frisch, Regis de sa Moreira, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Douglas Adams, among others. As a bibliophile, I also do love books about books, reading and libraries!
