Recent Book Activity

I'm gramma to Trevor, who lives too far away to play. So I do lots of reading in my retirement, and belong to two bookclubs.Go to many plays, ballets, etc., and am particularly a fan of WORD FOR WORD. WFW works out of San Francisco, and their schtick is to act out short stories "word for word", with the characters saying the connective words, descriptions, etc, in addition to the dialog. It is astonishing! Am going to a performance this Thursday where they will do stories by Paley, Malamud and Billers.
