Recent Book Activity

Hello to all BookCrossers and book lovers everywhere!

I love books and am an avid reader! I'll also confess to being a book hoarder, however, since discovering BookCrossing I'm getting the hang of "letting go". Releasing books in the wild has become a great pastime, and I have a 10% catch rate at this time.

I had the thrill on April 04, 2004 of registering the ONE MILLIONTH BOOK on BC, and couldn't have been more surprised or excited! I offered it for a bookring and it completed its travels (even across the Atlantic and back), and is now safely home again. Thanks to all who participated in the "How To Be A Financially Secure Woman" bookring!

I enjoy releasing books and participating in bookrings, bookrays, book boxes, RABCKS, and trades. Please note that RABCKs are sent at my discretion, and that I don't respond to blatant "Send me" requests. However, I am pleased and delighted to trade and/or send books for postage. If you see anything on my available shelf that you'd like, feel free to send your request and we'll work something out. Many books are given to me for my "BookCrossing cause" so the books on my shelf do not necessarily reflect my taste in reading. Also, some of the books may have yellowing pages, so please see the journal entry for a description as this will be noted if it applies. Please note: I will ship US only, as my BC budget is restricted now that I'm retired.
