Recent Book Activity

I had been kind of contemplating joining BookCrossing for a while. I first heard of it from some BookCrossers who also do Where's George, and I thought, "Oh, that's kind of neat. Too bad I don't read a lot of books, nor am I willing to relinquish books I buy..."

Then, in March 2003, on a flight from New Orleans, LA to Atlanta, GA, I found a book in the seat pocket in front of me. It wasn't registered at BookCrossing (yet), but somehow, it felt like fate. I'm taking another short trip this weekend, and I plan to release the book somewhere on my travels.

So, here I am.

Alright, here's an update as of May, 2005: I've still only entered that one book (which I released on a flight from Boston to either Norfolk or Newport News, VA). Remember what I said about not being willing to relinquish the books I buy? Yeah, I really wasn't kidding about that.

Update for February, 2007: I moved to Florida in January. I still haven't entered any more books here, but I swear I'll get around to it someday. I still keep an eye out for books, but (as with WG bills) I never seem to find any.
