My Wish List
I’m beginning to question if the word “passion” suffices to describe my love of all things literature: reading, writing, wishing Glade would create a “freshly published book” plug-in, even the fleeting patter of my heart and light flight of my breath every time I walk into a library or bookstore.
In my youth, parents read to me 24/7; hence my passion for books. As a collegiate English major now, I look back and note that a)I’ve never read a book I didn’t like, and b)I’ve always had more books than friends.
I wish I could honestly say that I live up to Erasmus’s inspiring words, "When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left, I buy food and clothes." Until that dream becomes a reality I look forward to letting BookCrossing fulfill my ceaseless literary cravings.
