Extended Profile
I love this idea. When was in college my Women's Lit professor used to bring in bags bulging with books and pass them out. "Books should be shared," she always said, and we would pass her books around amongst ourselves and bring our own to share.
I get the most incredible sense of luxury from libraries and used book stores. I can pick up something just because the cover art appeals to me, the title intrigues me, or the author's name is vaguely familiar. I have no idea if I will like the book or not. When I am paying a lot of money for a book I am much more cautious. But walking out of a library or used bookstore with a sack full of unknown possibilities .... I feel rich. It's almost as good as chocolate.
