Extended Profile

I'm currently not in the mood to read, because I'm the middle of a divorce. I do owe a lot of people books, but please, be assured that I will send books on as soon as I'm able to and in the mood. You can also always PM me to ask. BC is currently just not my
state of mind.
My name's dutch-book, 23 years old and living together with husband and daughter in Weesp (nearby Amsterdam.)
My daughter, Laura, was born the 16th of May 2009. I hope she also will inherit my love for reading.
I love reading, watching television and movies, listening to music, Postcrossing, bookcrossing, the colour yellow, flowers, shopping for my daughter and me, skirts, dresses, SuperMario, cooking (if I succeed), the sound of rain, being in my warm house when
it rains very hard, candles, getting mail, filled bookcases, bookrings, my daughter (especially when she smiles or screams for fun), a nice and clean house, the sound of my vacuum cleaner when it absorbs dirt, a certain painting by van Gogh. I also like to
travel a lot, visit museums, but unfortunately my husband doesn't. Once I hope to go to university and study Criminology and/or Literature. I'd like to become a midwife, an assistant midwife, a criminologist or someone in a literary profession. I'm fascinated
by dead people and how they died, what they look like etc.
My bookish dream is to have an own library, with an open fireplace, a cozy chair, some hot cocoa and me snuggling in that chair before that fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa in one hand and a book in the other, and surrounding me are thousands of books in their
shelves, neatly stacked.
Every day I wait and wait and wait until it finally is time to run to the mailbox and get my mail. My day brightens whenever I discover a book or some postcards.
Happy BC-ing!
