About me: I'm a small town girl, working in a corporate world. Married to a wonderful man. We have 1 cat... our fur-kid, Sadie =^..^= and a backyard full of woodland creatures. Love Readers Digest, gardening books, mysteries and thrillers. I LOVE this concept and the thought that looking for released books can be like a scavenger hunt!

I first learned of Bookcrossing from an article in my favorite magazine - Readers Digest. When I saw that article, I knew I was hooked. I grew up on Nancy Drew mysteries and was a real bookworm all through grade school and high school. Once I married, other things replaced the need for a book, but finding this site has sparked my interest to read again. Thank you BOOKCROSSING!

Other hobbies include gardening, garage sales, scrapbooking, geocaching, bicycling and bird watching.

"The beauty of friendship is like the beauty of flowers...there are many kinds and yet each has unique beauty to offer. There are friends who share our paths during certain stages of our lives, while others stay close to us year after year. Some are vibrant, admired for their strength, while others are delicate whispers of color whose gentleness has a special place in our hearts."

I currently have several books in my possesion that were sent to me by other BCers. The ones to read (in no particular order): Grimm's Grimmest, Gardens in the Dunes, and The Cat Who Blew the Whistle.

One of my goals is to read the following so that I can watch the DVD afterward and get them back in circulation, either on SwapaDVD.com, titletrader.com or similar site. In no particular order: The Weight of Water, Smilla's Sense of Snow , Fried Green Tomatoes, Life of Pi and Sabrina

Search: DVD, Xmas or Classic related.
