Recent Book Activity

I've been reading books, or having them read to me for as long as I can remember. My mom (goldie-gardener) would read Edgar Allan Poe to me for bedtime stories, and my dad (Daddymonster) and I loved to read "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Stand Back Said the Elephant, I'm Going to Sneeze" Both my brother (Burkeworld) and I developed our love of reading from our parents. I have now bullied my entire immediate family into joining this incredible site, and plan on hounding all of my friends until they do the same. You are ALL forewarned.

Frequently someone will make the comment to me that "every time I see you, you have your nose in a book." I take this as a great compliment. I am currently the manager of a book distribution warehouse in Minneapolis. My jobs have revolved around books (for the most part) since my first job as a page at the local public library.
