Recent Book Activity

I'm an admitted biblioholic. I never leave home without a book. If, by some freak chance, I do forget to take a book along with me I feel as awkward as if I've forgotten to wear pants. I love everything about books and I've found BookCrossing to be a fabulous way to share my love of books with other book lovers. I'm a member of the Dayton, Ohio BookCrossers which is how I discovered BC. I also spend a lot of time over at BookObsessed. It's another great way to enjoy BookCrossing and meet other BCers! There are swaps, relays, virtual book boxes and tons of other fun things to take part in.

All of my AVL books are, well, available! I enjoy trading, but due to financial circumstances and rising postage costs I am currently only trading in the US & Canada. If you see something on my bookshelf that you'd like please PM me and we can try to arrange something. I do RABCKs as often as I can, in the words of a fellow Dayton BookCrosser, "it's not a RABCK if you ask - so please don't."

My reading preferences are quite varied. I enjoy almost all genres, but my favorites are chick lit, historical fiction and mysteries. My favorite authors are Sophie Kinsella, Mary Higgins Clark, Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton, Truman Capote, Marian Keyes, Wally Lamb, Philippa Gregory and many more! My goals through BookCrossing are to introduce myself to new authors and release a ton of books! :-)

My other interests are as varied as my taste in books. Some of my favorite activities are exercising, running, cooking & baking, boating, kneeboarding, playing tennis, shopping, gardening, and horseback riding. I love old movies and am a huge Audrey Hepburn fan. I'm a sucker for good coffee and my favorite coffee shop is Un Mundo Cafe. I am also a proud member of Weight Watchers!
